Herbs and Bushes

 This is the second year
that my rosemary has
made a come back...
And it is blooming. Course
I popped that off cause
you are not suppose to
allow the herbs to bloom.

My basil came back
too.

Two types of
oregano.

And even my spearmint
is coming back.

Remember this girl?
For now she is on the deck.

Yellow bushes are
in full bloom.

Plus, the yard needs
cutting!
HAHA...
I try putting this
off for a bit cause
once it starts, its
on!!!

The only herbs I have which return are rosemary and thyme. Wish I could grow basil.

I'm with you on mowing grass. I debated doing it yesterday and changed my mind. I went to the gym instead. :D Forsythia are coming into full bloom here, as well. Best wishes! And thank you for the sweet nudge on my blog. It has been a while.

I did not know that about blooms on herbs.

I would kill to winter over plants and herbs and have them back. I killed the most dazzling rosemary bush. It was huge. I did get a couple of spice jars filled with the remnants but I would have loved it fresh!
I know folks who like to use a rosemary tree as a Christmas tree. It smells wonderful, looks good and can then be planted in the garden to wait the following holiday season while maintaining its role as a great herb.

Your yellow forsythia looks lovely.

All the best Jan
Hooray for Spring, things are looking good!
