Jacket Project, and Old Pics
The other night I was sitting here and thinking about a project that I had in mind.
ALWAYS...
A friend gave me this blue jean jacket a couple of years ago.
Shortly before moving I had a throw pillow that was worn out and was headed to the trash. Only when I looked at it I decided the middle would work great on my jacket.
So I sewed it on the back.
It really does look neat.
So while looking for pics I took of Sal when he was here in 79 I ran across some others that I shared on FB.
The first was taken in
1974 in the one and only flowerbed I ever remember my mom having. Here is the view of that side of the house, into the backyard, clothes on the line and the back of the house on the other street.
I ran out to take a pic of the same view the other day. So 46 years later, the difference. The fencing had been added. The redwood fencing was added to hide the air unit. Then later the metal fencing was installed. Course you can see the back end of the deck also. But looking past that you can see the same clothes line still standing and yes, I still hang clothes out. The pine trees were planted by our neighbor and of course they grew blocking the view of the back of the houses on the other street.
The next pic was taken in 1976, of course all these pics were taken by me (always had a camera).
That is Mark up a tree!
Taken 44 yrs ago.
Same view of the tree that was planted when the house was built, 54 yrs ago. This is the tree that I just had cut back to see if it could be saved.
Mark seems to think it will not make it and I will have to have the rest taken down.
HAHA...I wonder if I can get Mark to climb up to that fork in the tree and lets do a retake!!!
While looking through pics I found these of my friend that lived down the street, Cindy. I guess I was always goofing off. I think Mark took this pic.
This next was Cindy and I after school on Sadie Hawking's Day.
Goofy yet again.
I think the bed started out a few mins ago whispering my name, now it is yelling at me.
Good night all,Pam
