More Pics with the Camera

Like I said in other post...
I just had to have the camera in
my hands and I needed out for
a bit.

This is how Friday and Saturday
seemed to go~

Both days! Everything I touched
I dropped, even a glass putting it
up in the cabinet.

So getting out Sat. was right up
my alley!

Just so you know, I love to travel
back roads.
I am that person that checks
the rear view mirror really
fast to see if she can pull off
the road, swing in a drive or pull
over on the side....RIGHT THEN!

That is how I get these shots!
I am probably that driver some folks
like to cuss at.

And I love rustic, or worn out, not lived in,
lost looking, destroyed,  and sad looking places.

On the journey with me driving,
camera in lap and Debbie in the
passengers side we spotted this
at the head of a driveway.

 And one last barn...

Hope you enjoyed the pics.

i like everything you saw and stopped and took but that last one is My all time favorite. love the photo AND that barn.. wish i had things like this on our roads, we have nothing but city streets and crowded buildings and if we pulled off to snap would cause major traffic problems.

I love all the old barns and houses. I'm sure there are so many stories they could tell. How fun.

Have a fabulous day. ♥

Oh, Pam, right up my alley also. I'm so glad you were able to get those photo's; I love them each and every one. And, how wonderful to see God Farmer! Wonderful!

(thank you for checking up on me) :)

Wow! I'm afraid to pull over on a quick whim. My luck, I'd end up in a ditch. ~grin~ I do drive with the camera in my lap sometimes when traveling. Tends to drive SO a little crazy but we've come to the understanding that I can watch the road and click the shutter out the window at the same time. Doesn't always pay off, but it's fun to try when I see something neat heading down the road. Be well!
Oops to the broken glass. Those barns sure are aged but cool.

Quite the collection of decrepit-looking buildings.
Oh girl, I had one of those days recently that seemed like everything I picked up either broke, got crumbled, or fell apart! I am loving all the pictures. I love old barns and I am like you...love taking the back roads. I just enjoy the quiet time for one thing. I need to get out more with my camera but doesn't seem to be enough time for that. One of the sweetest pictures I ever made that impressed me so much that I had a large print made from it and framed it and it is on my wall was of a bridge in the mountains. There is just something about capturing a shot that speaks to the heart. Have a good day lady. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

I did that both days this weekend too, only mine was a toothbrush glass and a light bulb. Oh, and a dish that fell out of the cupboard. Forgot about that one. Ugh. Well, it's one way to get rid of too much stuff.

Now that house isn't nearly as grand as the one you shared before!
