Daughter's Wedding
Sorry I have been MIA.
Wedding done and out of the way
maybe things will
calm down some!
First off....
here is the necklace and earrings
I made to wear with my dress for the
wedding.
I bought the some beads and I
had the pearls. The silver design
piece at the top of the earrings came
from a necklace I bought when I was working
from Charming Charlies. It had started
turning. I cleaned it then I painted these
pieces with clear nail polish to keep them
from turning again and proceeded
to take the necklace apart to use in other
ways....this being one way.
Here is the dress I wore.
This is the dress my aunt sent me
from Georgia to wear to the wedding.
Close up of the beading on the
dress. The pearls in the necklace and earrings
were made with pearls since there were
pearls were on the dress.
And here is the combo
together.
My ex's cousin took this pic...
catching me off guard.
Now~
Everyone that has been reading
about me making the
cake and wondering how it
turned out....
here you go....
SO....what do you think?
Amber loved it.
Here are a few pics I took
before the wedding.
The jars with the hearts
are one of the items I
made for the wedding.
Bride and groom glasses
I got at Goodwill for 1.99.
Will's dad made the arbor.
The sands for the blended family.
The vases I picked up at
Goodwill,
99 cents each.
Each boy had their own color.
He has four boys
and
Amber had 3.
Amber's hair. She did not want
to wear a veil.
Here is the board sign I made for everyone
to sign, the cage for cards I pulled
together.
More pics to come later.

As for your dress -- well, you look mahvelous, as they say! A wonderful choice and you looked terrific in it.
I hope you are putting up your feet and getting a well-deserved rest!
