There's No Place Like Home
HAHA
ENOUGH SAID HUH?
Actually after about 17 hours
on the road my daughter got home
last night around 12:30.
They came in, Lily and I
went out!
I was home at 1:30 this morning.
In bed....haha, fell asleep on
the couch which sleeps amazing, I
do a lot of napping there.

Update of Lily and thanks to
everyone that has been concerned.
I am still not sure what she has taken
to not wanting to drink water.
But with the fluid that was pumped
into her, she has peed 3 times in
24 hours. I am keeping an eye on it.
But I think on top of the ordeal at the vets
yesterday she is just glad to be home.
I think she was a tad depressed.
We got in this morning and she ran
through the house to check everything out.
First good movement I had seen all day.
This morning she work me wanting the
blinds opened at her perch then going
to the back door begging to go out.
It is a cool 50 degrees on the porch,
coffee is been downed, I am sitting
here with my thick winter housecoat
on and house shoes allowing Lily
to enjoy the birds and squirrels!
THE THINGS WE DO FOR OUR PETS!
I am still sore, not as much. My pinky was
terribly swollen last night and black and
blue. Today it seems better. YAY!
Still swollen but it has gone down.
I need to be editing on my last photo shoot
but I decided today will be mine and the
kids day (fur babes). We will do what we
want, lay around, sit around, work on other
things....whatever.
For those who were concerned about me
sitting in Fairview with my 17 yr old
grandson while daughter was away....
haha...
why invite trouble?
He is immature for his age.
Cares nothing about school so he
would have laid out and stayed up
all night either with the GF or the X-Box.
We were just trying to nip issues in the bud!
But...I love all the concern you all have
showed to me and to Lily.
I am heading to moms in a bit cause I think
Lily will be even happier once
THE KING
is home.
Thank you all and have a fantastic
Halloween!

That is good news about Lily. Our husky girl Charlie gets some kind of depression at the change of the season, mostly in the fall. She refuses to eat, wants to hide under the bed and basically ignores the household. I rarely see her drink water during this time too. The first year we were terribly concerned. But her bill of health is good so we figure it's just her depression, which makes our hearts break because we can't do much to help her. As soon as the snow hits the ground she'll be up and perky again though!
I hope your pinky heals soon!!! We are having a very Halloweenie day today! :))
I am happy that you were able to stay and keep an eye on your grandson. They all need a bit of monitoring at that age no matter how "good" they are.
Hope Lily does fine and starts taking fluids in again soon.
Have a great Halloween night- xo Diana
