Wizard of Oz Themed Christmas

For those of you that don't
know this...I am a
Wizard of Oz
fan!

My most fav movie of all times!

While on Pinterest last night
while I could not sleep I
was looking for Oz stuff and found
so many things and ideas.

A Wizard of Oz Christmas!
First off as much as I would love
to do a tree of Oz stuff I
could see that would get into a
major cost.

But...its an adorable idea.

Here you have a tree skirt made
from the blue and white
gingham checked material!
Course I love the shoe and stocking
idea.
A fact~ did you know that Dorothy's
dress was actually
blue and pink and not
white?

This little tree is cute but

I really like these two
so much better.

You can even purchase these
lights for your tree!

Speaking of lights...
check this out.

Reminds me of the one
from the movie
A Christmas Story.

Can't forget the front door.

There were so many wreaths that
only picked these two!

If you wanted to go the route
of DIY ornaments for a tree
you could do something like this.

I love this pic....

Even though it has nothing to
do with Christmas
last year I painted this for
my Christmas card.

I used the pic and the phrase
"There's no place like home"
and to make it relate to
Christmas I put in
"for the Holidays"

Thanks for stopping in,

Hi Pam :)) Just came to visit! I LOVE those tree skirt ideas...I admit, I love the one that mimics Dorothy's house that fell on the witch lol. Very cute. You know, I'm planning for the holidays now. I got my Thanksgiving menu planned yesterday - Canadian Thanksgiving is October 9th. Now I'm working on Halloween and Christmas/New Year's!

that is a really cute idea for the card and I love how you painted it. when you paint your cards do you scan and make prints? how do you turn it into cards is my question. I am one of very few that has never seen Wizard of Oz..
You are such a talented and creative lady. Love all of your Christmas ideas, they are so original and fun !

Cute stuff. You can so do most of that. You'll have to show us how it turns out.
I didn't realize there were so many Christmas pieces related to the Wizard of Oz, Pam. I adore this movie too. It's quite meaningful. Your Christmas card is beautiful. ♥

I remember seeing that painting of Dorothy's red shoes, it's pretty. Oh my, I always thought Dorothy's dress was blue and white. I learn something every day from my blog friends. : )

Interesting that Wizard of Oz is so much connected to Christmas. And I love the red show card!
