Picked up this table leg at the rehab store a month or so ago. Piece of scrap wood, already cut to size. A finial A hook Screwed the finial in what would normally be the bottom of the table leg Screwed the hook in for a welcome sign to hang on (just have to make that now) Bam.....it will be a great welcome sign for the front porch. Question - to paint and distress or leave as is? Thanks for stopping by,

Dakota.....AKA THE KING makes me laugh so much. I told him that granny (my mom) was coming to get him to go to her house. She has three dogs and he loves to go over there to play. I am going out tonight so he is going to spend the night. But here he is waiting for her to come. Yep....she is here! Thanks for stopping by,

I love when I come up on something that makes me smile. A heart from the...

Thoughts on the Kitchen

Been in my house 25 years. I started the painting project on the cabinets maybe around the 2nd year here. My son who would have been 7 or 8 helped with the stencil on the cabinet doors. And although I liked it then, I am tired of it now and ready for a change. I am thinking that I will do the bottom dark brown and a tan on top. What do you think of that idea? Thanks for stopping in,

I have two photos today. Yesterday while heading to pick up my grandson at school I saw several old vintage cars. I saw this one first. Then a few more miles down the road I saw this one. These were the only two I got pics of but Caleb and I actually saw about 4 more. I guess the beautiful weather brought them all out. Thanks for stopping in,
