This elf was tired on  Christmas Day so I sat  upon my rear while Amber finished up the meal. Yesterday I shared the group pic of us on Christmas day.  Cropped this one so that you could  see the whole outfit...except the hat, I forgot it and left it in the house.  I am showing this pic again with  you for a reason. I was looking at this pic last night  on FB when I saw something. I have my hand resting on Felicity's  shoulder, in which she reached up and  placed her hand over mine. Oh my, this girl melts my  heart.  That was not the only sweet thing this girl did on Christmas Day.  I sat in the floor with the greats as they opened their gifts. Each one so excited they kept calling  my name to look. After gifts were done, I continued to sit in the floor. Felicity walked around my back,  placed her hand on my shoulder, leaned over and kissed me on the  top of the head, and walked on. Wondering if she even realized...

Morning, I am hoping  that you all had a great and Merry Christmas. It was great being with the family and watching the greats on  Christmas day... however, did I have the energy to find that Christmas spirit? No... I kept a smile on my face and  pushed on. But, actually glad it is over. Now to move on... 1940 Our state capital. Wow,  seeing it like this is strange and  knowing that just 38 yrs. later,  it was thriving and I was working just  across the street from this capital. None of those wooden ransacked buildings were left and there were high rise buildings all around.   Most folks are not aware, esp if you never visit Nashville  or taken a tour through the capitol, but in the  cold stone walls of our State Capitol  are the remains of two men.  When the powers that be, whomever they were wanted to build the  state capitol Nashville, they knew that they wanted a  big name architect to build it.  That is when...

Merriest Christmas  EVE! Well, go figure. Is TN the only place folks can find to work or what. Are they all striving to be country music artist or what? lol Just in the two years of  living here in Hickman Co. aka Hicksville, I have seen changes. Oh no, not in this county but the  two that border close by us for  our shopping needs.  Lots of building and growing. Matter of the fact, right over our county line into Dickson Co., right on the line, land has gone up  for sale on both sides of the road. Does odd, strange or weird attract the same? lol Update on health, after the shot on Wed., couple of days went by without results then on Saturday  evening, I started to feel a  tad better.  TAD, just a little but  enough that I got the living room picked up on Monday  evening.  I also cooked.
