Life Through the Eyes of my Scattered Brian

Once I finish up with these first few pics, this will  cover my first day of  riding around with my  camera.  I have been here before... But the home of Minnie Pearl does not stand anymore. I am certain that I  have mentioned that she is from Centerville Tn.   Course, you know, that Johnny Cash  lived in Hickman Co. although he was not from here.   I also learned that Beth Slater  Whitson lived in this area. Wow, how neat is it to learn  that someone back in the day,  lived here also.  How interesting.  In this area our highways  from city to city are nice two lanes, however, the original highways are broken up and you can get on  them just about anywhere. I hit highway 48, the original highway 48 and was shocked at how narrow the actual road is. Amazing!! Talk about traveling the  back narrow roads of Hickman County. Abandoned. This other one is  down a couple roads  near me. Along with this....

I shot this last week and I shared with you. This time I went back with a real camera, such a cool spot. This house is like a couple of doors from the silo. Looks fairly newer, but empty. Then as I started back down the road I saw this baby crossing the road, only surprise, there were actually three more behind this one. Got a call at the time I spotted the deer, it  was my great granddaughter,  Felicity. She talked and talked, while I shot what I could and then drove on down  the road. I did not realize till I  got home that I  caught this one in  a jump.  I love to watch them,  they move with such grace. Yep, did it again, I drove up  the driveway (trespassing)  to shoot a few pics.   Yard is kept up nicely,  but the house sits empty and alone.  Wow....I have to wonder why homes are sitting, all  alone and empty, I would love to hear the stories behind that.  I had a couple of really off days, so off that I knew I needed  my camera, the windows down and  a ride around somewhere. So, I did just that. Forgot a doc appt on Thursday, and went driving down  back roads of Hicksville Hickman CO. Tn. Pics to come later for  today I want to skip over those I need  the wind and the air, the  camera in hand, get out and  go for Pam Day!- So, skip over Thursday and Friday  and slide right in to  Saturday afternoon to Braden's delayed bday party. Boog was being Mr. Silly. What is so adorable about this pic. A yr ago, Boog would not allow anyone to take a pic of him. The amazing first for him and I was that he allowed me to hug, kiss and tell him I loved him moment. If you are having problems  remember WHY, this is a biggie, when you have to scroll through names of my grandsons and  great grandchildren, Boog has  a form of Autism.
