Still posting pics from my week long stay at my brothers house. This is a shot off the back deck over looking the barn, the trees and right to the lake. Beautiful. This is view that you can't see ones the trees fill out for the spring and summer months.

Day 329- February 19, 2011 - Missing His Daddy and Mommy
This is Moose. He is a chocolate lab and a big lovable baby. I stayed out at my brothers place for a week watching the animals and poor Moose acted like he missed his Daddy and Mommy so much. I caught this pic of him laying on the sofa with his head hanging off, looking so lost and alone even though there were 6 other dogs around. What you don't see that appeared after this pic is a puddle of drool on the floor! Thanks for stopping in,
Day 328- February 18, 2011 - Goodwill, Good Buys
I am a bit behind on posting a post a day, thanks for reminding me Mark! lol So I am going to be posting a blog post for the days that I have missed while I was away at my brothers house, house/dog/bird and horse sitting! While I was busy with the animals I took a break last Saturday to venture out to the Goodwill near their house. I am always on the look out for something I can us to make something else. But with this first buy, it was perfect....no work needed. This is for one of my grandson's. It can sit on the shelve in his room and I don't have to do a thing with it. Got this cutie at the bargain price of .99 cents. This next purchase was $2.99 but I have plans for it that I will have show at a later date. This is a nice piece $2.99. I thought it would be perfect to sat a potted plant on. And these were $1.49. Not sure yet what I will do with them but it will come to me. This was .99 cents and its metal. Day 323 - February 13, 2011 - Calendar Project
I borrowed this from someone else's blog and since I printed it off to copy a few weeks ago, I have no clue whose blog was I borrowed it from... SORRY.... but thanks I loved what you did with the Christmas paper calendar like this but I wanted one for my desk at work so I went with the black theme. Sorry again, for not have step by step directions but I was playing games with my grandson in between steps and the shots I should have taken, did not get taken! I used two wooden blocks from Hobby Lobby. .99 cents each A wooded plaque piece also from Hobby Lobby. .50 cents 5 different styles of scrapbook paper. 6 would have been better but I could not find another black and white print I liked. So each block has one style used twice...NO biggie. Black paint, had on hand. Mod Podge, had on hand. Painted the blocks and plaque black. After that dried I mod podge the squares I had cut onto the blocks. Letting that dry. Then with black paint I painted on the numbers. ...
Day 322 - February 12, 2011 - More Birds
I think I have found a new way of bird watching... I am on the computer sitting in front of the window with my camera sitting right next to me.....and while I work, the birds come to me and land in the bush outside the window..... Sitting here minding my own business and look what came to visit. Same with this one. And this one...only he would not come to the bush, he was in the tree just past the bush. This is easy pesy! Day 321 - February 11, 2011 - The Birds
Wednesday was a snow day for me! Mother Nature just keeps on dumping on us in Nashville. So with the roads in slick shape, I took off work. I could not let that day go to waste but I am learning so fast that there are just so many times and ways that you can photograph the snow in your own yard! With that, I decided to leave the dog in the house and I went out once again into my white yard but this time to see if I could catch some birds in action. I left the dog in the house cause on my past attempts to do this, he scares them all off by chasing them. Got this mess of guys in the backyard high in the trees. They were making a lot of noise. Then I caught this cutie setting in the tree near the front of the drive. All my trees line the drive across the creek. And getting this next guy was a challenge. I started at the front of the drive trying to catch a shot of her. But she would either be behind small branches, to far away or I would scare her off with the sound of the frozen cr...
