Day 291 - January 11, 2011 - SNOW block
Welcome once again to my blog.
For those of you who have a garage you will not understand
this, but for the ones that don't have a garage, you will
understand.
In the winter time it becomes hard in the mornings with
scraping frost and snow from the windshield. In Tennessee
it is against the law to start your car and go back into the house
for it to warm. I use to start the car and lock it, go back inside
to wait a few minutes then I used my second set of keys to get in
when I was ready to leave. But for fear of getting a ticket
or to have my car stolen. I stopped doing it.
Now I go out and sit in the car while it warms up. At this
time I actually watch the ice slide from the window or
I go ahead and scrape the windows......not fun when
its snowing or freezing.
I picked up a sun visior from the dollar store for my
idea to help with this problem.
On one end there is two elastic pieces for when you
fold the visior up to secure it and keep it from unfolding.
They work great for one side of the car...... Then I sewed two pieces of ribbon on the other end.
