Chickadee

Sitting on the deck today
I watched a Chickadee
going in and out
of the hole in this
dead part of the tree.

Guess the bird is making it home for
spring.

On another note I was needing
a seat cushion for my glider.

Mom rand by Big Lots and
found two cushions that
would work.

They look great and
only cost my 33.00.

Now once I can get out there and
pull on things and move things
around I will straighten
out the deck so I can
enjoy it.

Thanks for coming in,

Looks like my glider. Tacky loves to use it as her throne.

Pam, thank you so much for leaving a sweet comment about the lighting for our new house. :)

I love to watch chickadees too! Right outside my desk window is the nextdoor neighbor's house. They have a vent on the side which I guess is for the dryer or something. The chickadees have a nest in that vent and they go in/out all day long. Let's just say there's a lot of flirting going on over there too. It's spring you know!

Love your new cushions. I never go to Big Lots and need to remember to do that. My mom loves it too.

No rush though, right? Take it easy. You don't want to overdo while you're still recovering.

I will check our Big lots for these, I need two of them for the swing in the back yard. sweet little chickadee entertaining you and us.
we paid our house off 18 years ago when Bob retired. we planned it that way so he could take retirement at 62 and then me 8 years later at 62.. one of us will die here but if he goes first I will be moving.

Love those cushions and the pics of that sweet little bird. Birds absolutely amaze me with all the things they can do. While I'm not a spring and summer person, I admit that I'm ready to sit outside for a bit and enjoy some warm (not humid) weather. And thanks for the reminder about Big Lots...I always forget to scoot by there. If a store is not right on my driving path, I tend to forget about it. :-) Have a wonderful day! xoxo

Chickadees are so fun to watch. So are all their feathered friends. Thank you for sharing!
