Life Through the Eyes of my Scattered Brian

 I have been just working away lately. So much so that on Sunday I crashed. Thank goodness it was not  a crash and burn but I slept all day. But, other days I have been doing  this and that. This being, working on Ambers bday gift. First came primer, then paint, and after I had it painted, I applied the top to the table. Wood is on. Stained and sealed. My thoughts are that if you  are going with the farmhouse rustic look, you really need to  go rustic. By rustic, when hammering the  nail in, it did not go in straight... OOPS. But I am all for leaving it in there, and bending it down. On top of that, I sort of  add rustic to the wood by hammering screws and nails in the wood,  then removing them.   I love it and Amber will too. I now have it on my deck, hidden from viewing eyes by a throw. haha... Monday, I decided to head to  Charlotte TN., county seat of  Dickson Co., which is one of the  counties around me. As I headed to Charlotte, taking the back way from my house, I  past this church. Once I passed it, of course, I had to turn around and  go back to see what sort of  pics I could get. I moved around to get a view of the church with the tree, making for a cool shot. Check out the beautiful c o l o r s ! Just made me feel great riding around viewing all the  c o l o r s .   I hit Charlotte and sort of drove around a bit. I have not been to  Charlotte since the mid 80s. A woman I worked with in  Printing was from Charlotte. Debbie Brewer, also from printing, and I drove to see Ann once.  Ann lived in a unique home. Liz Over at  Laws of Gravity was wondering if I had  a rabbit, or a family of rabbits....... Well Liz, I have only seen  one since living here and that was the one I saw  yesterday. I would not  be surprised if there  was a mom, dad,  babies, aunts, unlces and the whole bunch. Speaking of critters, check out my babes the  other day. Chilling along with  mom.
