End Table and Deck
I have been just working away lately. So much so that on Sunday I crashed. Thank goodness it was not a crash and burn but I slept all day. But, other days I have been doing this and that. This being, working on Ambers bday gift. First came primer, then paint, and after I had it painted, I applied the top to the table. Wood is on. Stained and sealed. My thoughts are that if you are going with the farmhouse rustic look, you really need to go rustic. By rustic, when hammering the nail in, it did not go in straight... OOPS. But I am all for leaving it in there, and bending it down. On top of that, I sort of add rustic to the wood by hammering screws and nails in the wood, then removing them. I love it and Amber will too. I now have it on my deck, hidden from viewing eyes by a throw. haha...
