Reuseable Plastic Containers

Image
Like I always do, I head to  PINTEREST when I want ideas for  projects. Saturday, I had a question~ DIY Projects for  Coffee Creamer Plastic Containers. Here is what I came up with,  which also sent me to uses for other plastic containers. I don't use the creamer that comes in clear containers, but you  could always lable them for  whatever you put in them. I like this idea  BUT I have a lot of ribbon! I see that thought in your head, the one that is saying, "of  course she does"!!!! One thing I have used the containers for in the past that I never found on PINTEREST is  for the kids. My grands seem to head out with my glasses, so  when they were younger I used to keep straws on hand, fill up a container with the drink of  choice, slap the lid on with  a straw and it don't matter if it don't get returned.  Make cookies to give to a friend, stack them in a creamer container.  I am a recycler to a point, and it bothers me to throw  glass jars, cans and plastic conta

OH MY GOSH, this has to be the BEST rosemary bread I have  ever made.  I have tried several different types of bread, but a friend shared a recipe that she round and  it is amazing, then I  added garlic and rosemary!! It is GREAT!   I also made some pumpkin bread. I used to make it from scratch but a couple years ago, I found that in the  fall Libby's puts out a box mix, you add eggs,  and oil. I had a mix I  purchased and it was going to be outdated in June, so  I used it.  I have company coming to the house on  Wednesday so I am going to put out finger foods,  pumpkin bread being one  item I am going to put out. Also, I am in waiting for  results to a test I had done Friday, if the biopsy comes back as positive, then bread might have to come off my menu, not sure how I am going to do that, but, I might not have a choice.  My doc keeps an eye on my numbers and after my surgeries in Aug and Sept. she found I am really anemic. According to my records, there was no report of me los

I follow a page on FB called Painting Proverbs Usually, the doors are cute.....this even even for me is TOO MUCH! Here a few of her doors~ Some cute ones... BUT...that one! WOW! Before I moved my son said, "now mom, you  are moving into a new home,  but promise me that you will not be painting the doors,  or stepping stones!!" WHAT? No, I did not make that promise... haha I painted the front door with my door saying~~ Of course, this is a big  saying from The  Wizard of Oz, plus it was on my door in Old Hickory, I put it on my childhood home and again here. Yep, the shed has been done also. Just to recap the past, front door on my childhood  home and yes, I  painted over it when I moved. I also painted over it  before I moved from  my home of 28 yrs. The back door at my  childhood home got some paint also. But then when I found  the FB page from above, I  took the back door a tad further with the paint.  Cory mentioned that I painted my stepping stones,  I DID! haha However,

Headed to the chiro  on Thursday which is not  my given day but I switched up days this week. Tad early for the apt. so I  rode around a bit looking for Johnthan's (restaurant) for  a lunch coming up so I would know where to go. When I  came across this cute church. ADORABLE!!! You know I love gates,  esp. when I make them B&W. This one is nice cause you can see through the gate. My normal day for chiro is Monday and Wed. but due to having guest visit on Wed. I changed that day to Thursday. Friends, Vic, Mitzi and  Julie were coming  to visit....Vic and Mitzi were delivering my  mower to me. Chris had it since I moved to work on it. Friday is suppose to be a  NO rain day so grass will get its second cutting this yr. I have had visitors to the  house but not friends that I was going  to entertain. I actually did a little spread.  Homemade Rosemary bread.....oh yum,  the best I ever made. We had regular store  bought bread, Rosemary bread,  chicken salad, ham and turkey. Peptia
