Misty, Lily, DJ's Bday, Beaver Moon and I

 Early morning love, 
or in her way, 
head butts.
Don't happen often but
went to be night before
last and both girls curled 
up and went to sleep with me.
Misty, always up next to my
head and Lily down at my feet.
This girl snuggles close,
next to my head, facing me....
and when I work several hours later
we were still in this position.


Can't leave Lily Bit out,
she loves her head rubs.




She will lay here for the longest
getting loved on and petted.

Thursday was DJ's bday.
He turned 17 yrs of OLD!
haha
I went over for dinner and 
gift opening.

A little over a month ago, 
DJs dad found him a car at
a reasonable price but it needed
some work and love.
So....with that said, he got stuff
for his car that will be done
and ready for him in a week 
or so.
His mom got him a apple play
stereo for the car. I got
him a lighter plug in tire 
plump. A tire gage, some 
Armor All, a clothe for washing,
flashlight, a tree smelly thing and 
I am going to get him some
jumper cables and some odds and 
ends. 





He loves Mexican food so 
I did him up a cute little
Mexican food card.

One more thing, the other night,
was the Beaver moon and everyone
was talking about it. I did not 
want to be the only one that
did not see it, so I went out
on the sidewalk, turned the camera
around and took a selfie or
me and the moon!

Haha...

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. Forgotten, Old, Square, Coffee and Parada

The other day I mentioned that I  left the house early and  stayed gone for hours, with my  camera. Going to try and work on  my "Forgotten in Hickman Co." album on FB. It is sort of overwhelming that there is so much abandoned  property in this county.  The pic above is on  the main strip and I think it maybe was once a store, or  a place to eat. While I was riding around the county seat of my county, I saw this amazing home. And this one. Centerville has some really old homes. The town was  established in 1823. and in 2020 the population     was 3,489. There is no growth in  this county, the county seat wants to keep it that way.  The town square has more vacant buildings then ones that have something in them. Catchy sign... haha....don't even ask me who the mayor is now either.. not a clue.  WOW.....August sure did move through really fast! Here it is Sept. and the  fall season is knocking on the door, then Halloween and  the holidays will be here. Always heard this stuff flies by the older you get, so  true. CRAP....I  saw this the day after  I painted my Christmas card. I have been thinking of redoing the one I just painted, I  like the idea, but the pulling it off just is not doing anything for me. I will prob trash this  one and redo it by changing a few things.  My thought process is still the same, I just have to study my thoughts and  figure out how to do it.  Wed. evening, I had to drop Braden out at the farm of a teacher from his school.
