Lap Blanket and Pics on the Wall

 I have been busy,
crocheting.
I am almost finished
with DJ's
Christmas gift

But in between that and
other stuff I decided
to crochet a lap
blanket for my ex
aunt Sissy. She has
alhimerizers and I have
sat with her several times.
I am going next Thursday
to sat with her again.

I sewed some yarn, ribbon, beads
and other stuff onto it for her
to fiddle with when sitting around.

I also sat in the living room floor
on Wed. and went through
jewerly. I had knotted chains that
I worked on to get the knots
out, some I decided to post
on the neighborhood FB page
to give away and sat some
aside to take apart and use
in other ways.

I also framed pics of
the great grands and
today I hung them.

They are on the wall above
the stairs going downstairs.

I also picked up some things
for modge podge bags at
Christmas.
I usually make one for my
daughter with house hold items,
soap, shampoos and stuff.
With Caleb being new to
a relationship and being a dad,
I am doing one for them also.
I am so far behind on
my Christmas shopping!

Have you done any
Christmas shopping?

Pam

What a nice thing you're doing for your ex aunt Sissy. Bless you.

I've not done any Christmas shopping. I don't do much anyway. Just for the great grands.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week, Pam. Scritches to the furbabes. ♥

Christmas? Really Pam! I haven't even thought about it, but then I have old age to blame. :)

You're doing great with yours, though. I love what you did for Aunt Sissie. I know she'll get pleasure from touching it; that was a great idea.

It's only August. You've got plenty of time. (Says the girl who hasn't even begun to think of what she's going to knit for Christmas gifts. I may just buy them all stuff this year. Then I have plenty of time.)

Nice lap blanket. I bet she'll love it.
I don't plan on doing much in the way of Christmas shopping this year. I do want to make some things though. We'll see how ambitious I am.
That's a pretty blanket and how nice you go visit.
