More Healing to do

Donelson Christian Academy after the March tornados.

DCA now.... 10 months later.

Looks like they are getting an addition.

This is just one area that got hit.

This issue came into play cause of COVID.
Tornados hit the 3rd of March, the next week
the lockdown.
Being that so many places were shut down,
places got behind. I know a lady that just last
month they were able to get their new windows,
because the plant was shut down.

I have not been back through East Nashville or the
part of downtown that got hit. I however have
been in Mt. Juliet and seen what has been done
there. We need to heal more, we need
to heal faster.

Yes we do. I'm hopeful that things will get back to the new normal soon. I don't think the old normal will ever show up.

Have a fabulous day, Pam. Scritches to all the babes. ♥

It takes time to rebuild.
It takes a long time to heal from such destruction.

Building back is a challenge.

It's sad that these people not only had to go through the tornado but then to have everything slowed down because of covid.

I can't imagine how challenging it was for the people who were impacted by the tornado to start over at that time, what with the shutdown and all. I'm not surprised the rebuild is taking so long. I don't think the old normal will return. But we are strong -- normals change all the time -- it's just the change and transition that is tough.

We get occasionally bad storms around here, but I don't think we get Tornadoes thank goodness. Keep safe, and stay well, Diane
