Image
I went to Nashville on  Tuesday, for all things a going away party......for me. Yep... I have not been to work at Photo Services since before my surgeries last yr.  But I did not officially leave until last month. Theresa wanted to keep me on the  books just in case I decided to come back.  Being sick the first nine  months of last year, surgeries, the move.... I was done. Keep in mind that Theresa (boss at photo serv) and Tammy (asst. director for General Services.... Several areas fall under GS including photo servs.  and printing. Tammy was my  boss in printing when I worked there. But anyway, keep in  mind that Tammy and Theresa threw me a going away  party when I left to move over to the TBI in 2008. And again this time. I got to the office and there was all sorts of  treats and a room full of folks to say bye. In printing they put  this together and printed up a few copies. Oh my, where did they find all these pics.   The friends I have made through the years are amazing and I am

Hag Stones, Crystals, Watching Cars, Lunch ad Mailboxes

I yesterday's post I  mentioned hag stones. Here are two that B and I found. These are not small stones both are as big as my hand. It is said that you are  supposed to  be able to view the Fairy Realm when you look through a hag stone. But he careful the Fae are fickle. I have yet to look through mine yet...haha. B was really taken with the busting of the rocks.     B and I had a great time and  I was blown away over the  fact that he had never gotten into busting up snows.  Realized that I had not had many pics of the  girls on my post lately,  so here is Misty watching cars go by. On Sat. I headed to my long time stomping grounds,  AKA home city. Since Taziki's is not on the menu of places to eat around me and I love it, I stopped in for lunch in  Hermitage. I was in that area for a photo shoot, my sis in law hired me to shoot the baby shower of her nephews baby. While there, I went to bank, by Theresa's house to pick up flowers she left out for me since  she was not go

I have told you all about Everleigh's (Evie) parents before. But he is a refreshing course... Hannah just turned 19 and  Big B (Brayden) is 20.  Hannah just turned 15 when  Evie was born and B was 16. Yes, they are still together.  B even moved in with  Hannah and her family for a bit. But, moving on, Hannah and B just got their first apartment together. Moving in today which is  Friday. I had some extra stuff, like measuring cups and  spoons, pots I was going  to donate since I bought some  new when I moved. A gridle,  instant pot I don't use anymore, new wash closets, rugs, laundry basket, and dirty clothes basket,  I bought some plates, bowls, cups and utensils for them to start out with.  Anyway, I mailed them a  hand painted card today.  I am on a roll for sure. So happy for them and I sure do hope they are able to  remain together thru the years. My B and I had fun yesterday. When  I picked him up at school we went by Piney River and check out a swimming spot for the sum

New Watercolor Card and My Area

Image
I did an Easter card for  a friend. Actually, prob told you before that I am friends with my ex hubs cousin and aunt.  I have sat for his aunt before, she is not doing well.  Anyway, I made Kriste and Aunt Sissy this card. It went in the mail  yesterday.  My front yard. Looks a tad blank, which it is. But after throwing  out some grass send, I  finally have more grass coming up.  The front as you can see has a slight upward grade, up to the road. All the trees up there are across the street. Still bare in some places. My neighbor must have had the builder fertilize and seed her yard more than mine. She has more and it is greener. But mine will come in. You can also see the two new builds. The one next to the neighbors is like hers, and the one on the far end is like mine. Builder told me however that the  colors would be different, and her porch was not going to be like mine. To the other side of me, the  guy is still trying to sell  his house, on the other side of him is a house, the
