Odds and Ends and This and That

This post is just about this and that...
and things!

Stopped for lunch at Subway the other
day and thought I would try
these...not to bad but I think I
rather have a real mater with basil
on it!

Some of what is blooming outside
the building I work.
Pretty.

This is an Oak Leaf Hydrangea.

Taken in the field...love the colors
together. So pretty.

Flowers for me from .......???

LOL, the new guy in my life.

No clue!
Just saw this last week going down the
main road to my house.

Beautiful.

Nibbles.

I just like these kind of shots.

And this shot.

Found this guy on my front door.
Not sure I ever saw a white one.

Oops....thinking I just need to stay out
of the kitchen altogether.
A couple days before this I cut my
finger on a knife in the dishwater
and here I tried to pick up glass
from a drinking glass I broke.

TOM the TURKEY!
Isn't he a big boy!??
Showing off for the ladies.
(sorry pic is bad)

Oh and yes, my new guy.

Thanks for stopping in,
Pam

3rd Anniversary - Cory and Britney

Wow, its really been 3 years today since I traveled
to California to be at my son's wedding.
That was my first time back since I
left around the age of two.
It was a fast trip, lots to do.
My sis in law Lori went with me and
we were able to spend sometime riding around
and taking in sites.

Three years.
Happy 3rd Anniversary to Britney and Cory.

I was not only mom of the groom I
did a lot of the photography.
These are my shots.

~The guys~

Left to right is David, Kyle, Russ (best man),
my son Cory, Jon and Nicolas (performed the
wedding).

Great bunch of young men. I
really enjoyed meeting Cory's friends.

Silly bunch!
Cory esp.

Loving this shot.

The best man, Russ, my other
son by another mother and
my real son, Cory.

Love these guys, they did whatever
I asked.

Another photographer was photographing
the ladies but I snuck in and got
some shots.

My daughter in law,
Britney.

I love this shot and it was a mistake.
I blew it out with the flash not
meaning to but I loved the
way it turned out.

The back of the dress cause it is
a given to photograph the back!

Sees his bride starting down the isle.

Britney and he Dad, Brad.

He takes her hand when Brad gives
Cory the hand of his bride.

Nick performing the ceremony.

Wow.....my son!
THE KISS.

The girls.
Sorry, I did not spend as much
time with them and I had
a hard time remembering
the names.

Love the look on Cory's face.

These shots came out so cute.

Kissing the groom.

Then it is time for the guys to
get their kiss in!

They all were totally great at posing
for the shots.

Texting?
Really Cory?
LOL..

Britney and her mom picked the
best colors for a wedding.
Black, white and red.
Beautiful.

The bride has gotten tired of him already!
LOL

This was a set up by Britney's uncle
Lewis.
Lewis is a great photographer, he lives
in Guam.
Check him out at:

 http://www.frozenmomentsphoto.net/browse

She got him!

Love this shot...I love how happy
my son looks.

Like I said, the guys were so much fun
to work with.

Now to move inside.
Britney tearing up while he dad
gives the speech about giving Britney
to my son to love.
Cory saw her tearing up out of the corner
of his eye and reached over to take
her hand.

Now comes his turn, tearing up as Russ the
best man gives the speech.
At this point I put the camera away
and played the part of mom.

When I put the camera down for the first time,
I looked at his face like this and I cried.

Thank you for stopping in and wishing
these two a Happy Anniversary!

Thanks,
Pam

Major Hall - Metal Artist

This past weekend I was taken
to by the guy I am dating to meet
an old friend of his,
Major Hall.

Major is an amazing metal artist.
He has the coolest vision.
His work blew me away.

This is one of the first designs he did.
He has another that has glasses, I was
so amazed I missed talking
a lot of pics.
The one with the glasses was one I
missed.

The MAILBOX!
The head turns also!
Amazing.

I loved this view.

Check out the bonnet on this one.
She also had on an apron with
a big bow tied in the back.

I love, love, love this guy.

Inside the home, vases
made from a set of truck
horns.

A horn from an old car made into
another vase.

Major did not make this but
I had to have a pic.
Love it.
Coffee table.

This was made by another artist,
apparently the artist will barter
for each others pieces.
Check out the beak!

Famous piece...
this piece was on Talk of
the Town.

Found little things hidden all over.

Found these two pieces on a wooden
table on the deck.

Found the cool water feature outside
of the deck.
Beautiful.

Flying outside of the work
building.

This adorable hummingbird was
also in the same area as the
dragonfly.

from the work building we ventured off
to the barn.

Rust...I just love the rusty look.

And I totally fell in love with these.
Amazing pieces.
Want one so bad but sure that is
an expense I can live without.
But once again, an amazing
job.

The view from the back of the
barn...
Oh my gosh...
Beautiful.

Major walked me down to the lake to see it
all and of course I
snapped the view from the lake to the
barn.

Door entering part of the barn.
This area had an old fashion cast iron
stove, table and chairs and other stuff
for the grandkids to play when they
visit.

Of you see that red chair in the pic
above? Major and I both
had to sit, I sat there in that chair.
Wow...he wore me out on the tour of the place.
Caught this view from my seat.

Just a shot of the barn window.

another item at the barn,

I was enjoying sitting in my chair just
looking around and taking
pics.

Pray mantis

Frog with a dragonfly on his tongue.

Crane.

Another dog.

The cooker grill.
Has pig head on this side,
chicken on the other.
He is going to mount
a cow on the front....

And the bell.

There was so much more but I got so
side tracked with all there was.

I was also impressed to learn that Major
has a piece in the Smithsonian, designed
and made a Christmas ornament for the
White House Christmas tree in 2002 and
he is in a coffee table book.

Very impressive gentleman and
his wife Anna was so lovely.

Thanks Chris for taking me up to meet
Major and Anna. Major and Anna thanks
for the tour.

Thank you for stopping in,
Pam
