Halloween Costume - Work -2014

Image
I have already had so much fun this Halloween at work and on FB..   On FB I left clues to how I dressed and let folks guess who I was. Can you guess who I am?   My gloved hand.     My hair   No I am not Mrs Howell on Gillian's Island!     Any guesses yet before I give it all away?   Not yet?   No I am not a church lady.   Check out the shirt pattern. This was my inspiration to the costume.. Its peacock feathers!   I am holding a candle stick and I have books.   Okay give?                   I am Ms. Peacock in the library with the candlestick from the Clue game!   This is my twin Cindy at work! LOL   Can you tell which is which? Just kidding... LOL   Thanks for stopping in,

Our Nation's FLAG

Image
Chris flys the flag daily. And the storms lately have taken a toll of his flag.     But everytime he went to buy one it was made in China. So...he never got one.   But one day in Dollar General I looked down to see a display of flags....   ALL made in the USA! I picked one up for Chris.   Now don't that look so much better?       My heart lights up with pride when I view flags flying.   These poles are the flags outside my work building.   USA flag and the State flag.           And of course both the USA and the State flag flying above the State Capital in Nashville.     Thanks for stopping in,

My Boys

My boys- my grandson's!   Caleb just turned 14....yes he has the teen attitude. I guess we all did at that age.   He is my go with the flow grandson. He takes life as it is and he just goes with it unless of course it is something he wants then he will argue with you. Caleb in general is easy going but like all teens he wants to do what he wants to do. He is very smart but like his mom was, he don't always use those smarts. He is funny and to this day, a nana's boy. His eyes will light up when he is happy or when he laughs.     DJ is my middle grandson. He is my frowner. He don't smile often. He has never been a hugging and kissing sort of boy. He has always been a momma's boy. He likes to have his way with the younger child but finds that Braden will not stand for it. DJ has really come out of his shell since he started school last yr in pre school. He is very smart and loves to do his homework.   Th

Halloween Outfits Through The Years

Image
I am so like a kid at Halloween! I love Halloween! And even more I love to dress up for Halloween!   Years and years ago my friend Julie's mom had a Halloween Party. I went as Dolly! I really should have been a bit heavier with the makeup. I love Dolly too.     Then my friend Barb and I had a Halloween party when the kids were young. I went all Witchy that year!   Working for the state of Tennessee in printing (see the state seal?) I was a gyspy.   Also once with the State (sitll in printing) I became all Witchy again!   But my favorite outfit has always been a clown.   Still with the state (my whole life), But no longer with Printing, with the TBI in Medicaid Fruad.   Back to the standard outfit.     And yet...another year with Medicaid.       Then last year in another unit with The TBI... the group was from the Menion Movie.     Yes, that is me in the pink shirt!

Adorable Photo Shoot - Kelley's Grandkids at Pumpkin Hill

Image
Kelley, my hairstylist hired me to photograph her grandchildren at Pumpkin Hill outside of Nashville.   I had so much fun. I have never photographed four children under the age of four before and did not really know how well they would do.. they were GREAT!   This is Cannon on the left, Harley in the middle and Kyler on the right. Yes, Kyler was a mess...I loved it.     Kyler on the tractor!   The woman is Kyler and Harley's mom. The man is Cannon's dad. They are a couple and that is their children.   The blonde girl added to this pic is Kylee.   Brother and sis.   Bad to the ham again!   I asked them to give me a funny face!   Kelley in the center and her two daughters.   Daughter and her boyfriend.   Kelley and hubby.   We took pics and then took a ride on a hayride. On the way back to the barn it was feeding time
