Thank you very much Thursday

It's that time of week again when link up with
Kmama over at Daily Dribbles to voice and vent
on the things that might not be going as right as
we would hope for them too....
http://thedailydribbles.blogspot.com/

First let me thank my sleep apnea for
being off kilter and me waking daily
with a headache. Thank you very much.....

and having NO energy at all. Thank you very much.

But most of all I want to thank that ending on LOST
Tuesday night......I am still LOST and it is gone
for good now.
Okay....so I do get the ending to a point but I still
don't get a lot of things that has happened over the
last 6 years. I guess I will just continue to be LOST!
So here's a BIG FAT THANK YOU VERY MUCH....

Last, I want to say thank you so very much for
office staff that suck! Sorry...this has been an on
going thing with me over the past year. Customer
service is no more in most places. So....I want
to thank the folks that work at my home
health care company that act like they are
there to help you and they show it and you
should be so thankful for them...or they act
like they just hate being there and they show
that also..........Thank you so much for your rudeness.

Jump on over to Kmama's and read some more
post on the things in life that make you wonder
how you keep from yelling, screaming and at times
maybe hitting someone......

Thanks for stopping in,

True Story Tuesday -The Win - Chase Montgomery

Meet my nephew, Chase Montgomery, started racing
go-carts at the age of 13 or 14. From there, things really
started to pick up.

By 2000, he was racing at the Nashville Fairgrounds
and from there he went into ARCA racing. In 2002,
he became runner up as Rookie of the Year.
In 2003 Chase and Alice Cooper went
into partnership together. I was blown away and
could not believe that my 19 yr.old nephew was going to be
in partnership with the most controversial rock star of the 70's.
Chase told me that Alice was a very nice and taught
Sunday school. If I am not mistaken Chase and Alice
even took in some golfing together.
Also that year Chase won the pole position for the ARCA
200 in Daytona, at the same time earning
the record as the youngest driver to sit on the pole in
Daytona.
Racing ARCA, he took home first place
at Daytona Motor Speedway in 2003.

The next weekend Chase raced his first BUSCH race and
did really well for himself, coming in 10th place.
From BUSCH Chase moved into racing Craftsman
Trucks. At this time he was racing with Bobby
Hamilton's racing team.
I have watched Chase race from the stands, from
the top of a hub to standing behind the pit crew.
It's very exciting and scary at the same time and
I have walked a hole in the area behind the pit crew
while I watched him.
Not only a talented driver, he is also talented
with his hands and mind. He has been helping his Dad,
my brother, in designing, remodeling and doing the wood
work in my brothers home. What a fantastic job he has
done.
I am very proud of Chase, he has become a very
talented and sweet young man. He married his
sweetheart Susan a year and a half ago and right
now he continues to work with his Dad.
Thank you for stopping in,

The Clean Up Begins

Just a couple of area's in my neighborhood
where the floods hit. Clean up has begun.

Thank You Very Much Thursday

Its free therapy day over at http://thedailydribbles.blogspot.com/

Jump on over there and check out some more free
post where we thank all the crappy things that have taken
place in our life this week.

First I want to thank MOTHER NATURE
that dumped all that rain on us here in
Tennessee last Saturday and Sunday.

I wore myself out Sunday running from the back door
where I was watching the back half of my creek
doing this...

and then to the front door where I was watching the
front half of my creek doing this....

This is my drive way, on the other
side of the bushes is my creek.

I want to also say THANK YOU VERY MUCH
to those same rains that has put my fair city
of Nashville under water.

If dealing with all this has not been enough...
THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the staff at the
sleep doctors office that not only sound so uncaring
but apparently are just as incompetent!
Three weeks it took me to get an appointment
to the sleep doctor (whose staff I had issues with
before)......
to......me heading out Monday to my appointment and
having to take detours around all the flooded areas
to get to the medical building to not be able to find
my drs name on the board to tell me what floor he
was on.
When calling the office back I am not only told
that they moved back in December but they
had me down for my appt. the next day.
Crap....
I could have written the day down wrong but
at this point not so sure if it was on their
part.....
THANK YOU VERY MUCH...
for not being professional enough to tell all
patients that call for an appointment (at least for
the first six months, but it would be better
for a yr. that they moved)...
Or even sending out a notice.

Last ....THANK YOU VERY MUCH for yet another
bad night of sleep.

my bed this morning.

Thanks for stopping in,

Nashville Under Water

Hello Blog Friends,

If you have been following the news at all I
am sure you have heard of Nashville, TN.
flooding.

Saturday started off with rains that continued
through the day and into the night. As the
evening hours drew near, our fair city
started to sink.

Keep in mind also, that this is not just
effecting the county that Nashville is in,
this is actually so wide spread that it is effecting
most Tennessee counties.

The rains came and they stayed. It rained all
day Saturday and into the night where at
some point it actually let up. Come Sunday
morning with the storms moving in again and
carrying chances of tornado's, my fair city,
hunkered down.

Sunday brought rains so heavy that you could
not even see across the street, and unlike usual
it did not move out fast. It rained pretty much
like that all day.

With the creeks, stream and rivers taking
on more then they can handle, flooding started.
Homes and business under water, people
losing all they have. And lifes being lost.

When all was said and done Nashville
recieved a total of 13.57 inches of rain in
2 days. Some out laying counties and towns
got up to 20 inches.

Today cleanups began, the water started going
down but not before it covered some of Nashvilles
historical places.....like Gaylord Hotel where I
know a lot of you blog people stayed just a few months
ago. It has covered all of Opry Mills Mall where I am
sure some of you ladies shopped. It has covered the
historical Grand Ole Opry as well as all the places I
am sure some of you walked on Broadway and
2nd Ave.

Please keep Nashville in your prayers. We have a lot
of clean up and a lot of work to do. But like true
Nashvillians, we have pulled together, we have supported,
we have helped, we have lent that needed hand.....we
always bond in trouble times. We will come back from
this just like we did after the tornados of 1997...but
your thoughts and prayers are always needed and
welcomed.

A bank located on the banks of Stones River. Loved
the sign.
The Target shopping center not far from my home.
Two grown men having some fun. Course coming
out of Stones River I am not sure what kind of
critters would be in that water.

A home down from me.

A golf and rec center that sits on the Cumberland River.
Everything covered here including two dogs that were
in one building. No one knew that the dams would have
to release water due to the stress on them, causing all
the areas below to flood like this.

Our football field where the Titans play.
The field inside is full.

A state office building with state cars. Our state government
really did not need a hit like this.

Hotel at the end of Music Valley Dr. across from Gaylord.
They are moving guest out to higher ground.

Also at Music Valley Dr.

These next few pics I did not take. But this will
show you what I was talking about.
Grand Ole Opry~
